S – But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peace-loving, gentle, compliant, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without pretense. ¹⁸ And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who cultivate peace. 

James 3:17–18 CSB

O – Godly wisdom gives us practical skills to live in a way that yields these results.  A person walking in godly wisdom will seek righteousness because that honors God.  Those seeds of righteousness will yield peace in their lives.

A – We must continue to grow in godly wisdom.  It causes us to yield our own desires and actions to invite God’s best in a situation.  The results do not make us “pushovers.”  Instead, it develops strength that genuinely allows us to love God and others.

R –  Heavenly Father, we honor you as God.  We invite your Holy Spirit to work in us a desire for Godly wisdom. Please help us to humble ourselves and quiet our desires.  Instead, help strengthen us to seek you and your wisdom as we love others today.
