S  – At once an angel of the Lord struck him because he did not give the glory to God, and he was eaten by worms and died.

O – God will not share his glory with someone else.  Agrippa died shortly after accepting the praise of man.  “Why him,” when so many others do the same thing and it goes unpunished?

A – There is a fine balance of walking in the confidence that God has gifted you to lead and do certain tasks versus arrogance that relies on yourself to accomplish things.  When God is not given His rightful glory, watch out.  

R – Lord, I submit to you.  I recognize that you give me life today.  All my gifts, talents and wisdom are from you as well.  I align my purpose and will with your will as the direction for my life today.  I give you all glory and honor.
