S – Boaz answered her, “Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and your native land, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know. 12 May the Lord reward you for what you have done, and may you receive a full reward from the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings you have come for refuge.”
Ruth 2:11–12 CSB
O – Ruth’s choice to honor her mother-in-law was done in private. Yet, word gets to Boaz opening the door of provision and blessing.
A – God sees obedience, faith and honor in private. He rewards our lives in many ways. For Ruth, it started as a provision for her and Naomi. It developed into a relationship, marriage and son in the lineage of Jesus. Simple steps of obedience and honor are the catalysts of blessings.
R – Father, thank you for your blessings. When we submit to you in reverence, honoring you in obedience, it opens the door for blessings we can not imagine. We love you today.
